Trustwave Consolidates Security Operations with New, 24-Hour Cyber Threat Response Centre

Digital security and protection provider Trustwave opened its SpiderLabs Fusion Center in Chicago on Wednesday. The centre’s main functions will be to monitor, detect and eliminate cyberthreats within the networks of Trustwave’s business customers. Covering approximately 6000sq ft, the facility will function as the headquarters for Trustwave’s 10 international security ops centres. Employees at the centre will take immediate steps to directly respond to trouble discovered by the company’s secondary locations, acting as a digital response team for its worldwide operations. “Teams in the Fusion Center can launch deep forensic investigations using digital forensic incident response in minutes, not days, annihilating threats before extensive damage occurs,” said Chris Schueler, senior vice president of managed security services at Trustwave. “This is a true game changer because, typically, to launch an investigation would require flying teams to the location.” The centre will operate around the clock, 365 days a year.
