Qualitia Software, a specialist in scriptless functional test automation based in Pune, India, has announced the release of version 5.2 of the Qualitia Automation Studio, its test automation platform. The company claimed that because contemporary applications are asynchronous in nature, they pose a challenge to the stability of test automation. “The complexities of this can be best understood by viewing AngularJS as an example. Every automation engineer today deals with such application technologies. While attempting to handle asynchronous objects, they have to introduce sleep/waits in their tests. These are incredibly unreliable and are typically dealt with by introducing additional wait times impacting the overall performance,” the company said in a statement. With the new release, Qualitia will detect an angular application and will automatically add the required waits behind the scenes. The new release also includes updates to its editor function. “At Qualitia, we are constantly examining the market requirements to make life simpler for the testing community. Attention to detail is a part of our cultural norm. By eliminating stability concerns, version 5.2 ensures that functional experts can now build robust tests like never before,” added Amaresh Shirsat, Chief Operating Officer at Qualitia Software.
