Inflectra releases new test management migration tool

Maryland-based Inflectra, the software development lifecycle specialist, has announced the release of a new test management migration tool. The tool has been designed to assist companies when migrating from TestRail, the test management solution from Berlin-based software company Gurock, to Inflectra’s SpiraTest. Inflectra said in a recent statement that several of their customers have been looking to migrate from older, legacy test management systems such as TestRail which has seen a decline in active development. There have also been concerns amongst testing community that due to a string of recent acquisitions, such as the June 2017 acquisition of Gurock by software company IDERA and the $8.8 billion acquisition of HPE by software giant Micro Focus, old legacy test management tools will no longer be supported or developed.
