The ROI of shift left accessibility

Making websites accessible for people with disabilities is often thought of as a tedious manual process or something that is done after production with usability testing. While usability testing and some manual testing are important parts of accessibility, 50% of accessibility bugs should and can be tested in development and QA with automation. Getting ahead of accessibility by using automated tools is not only more cost-effective than addressing it after production, but it also prevents costly lawsuits that will disrupt sprint cycles in the SDLC. In this session, Deque will discuss: the ROI of Shifting Accessibility Left in the SDLC.
