Test management provider Zephyr has published a report off the back of its annual survey of over 18000 clients in 100 countries, determining the current state and future of the testing industry. The report outlines changes in demand for software testing, determining that growth is largely focused within the technology, healthcare, financial and retail industries. It analyses responses from stakeholders across the software delivery and testing pipeline on topics including the adoption of Agile testing, automation, and mobile testing. As a majority of companies adopt multiple automation tools and begin to experiment with mobile and mobile-enabled testing, Zephyr has quantified adoption rates for these technologies.
