Validata, a Cyprus-based specialist in the testing of banking software, has announced that the 9.5 release of the company’s continuous testing and DevOps platform has been extended to support end-to-end automated testing of Temenos TCIB and Mobile Banking software. Through its model-based test automation approach, mobile app developers and testers are able to design scriptless, reusable test scenarios and reach automation and test coverage rates of over 90%, the company said. The platform performs continuous web and mobile app testing and can integrate with both Selenium and Appium. All data is also consolidated in a centralised test analytics system. “Today’s digital economy requires banks to be able to quickly develop, test and deploy web and mobile applications across multiple platforms and multiple devices. Validata technologies empower Temenos clients to accelerate time to market of digital applications, while increasing quality, responsiveness and performance,” said Vaios Vaitsis, Founder and CEO of Validata. The environment allows testers of Temenos TCIB and Mobile Banking to conduct functional, performance and continuous regression testing, and is also available on cloud computing service Microsoft Azure.
