SmartBear Unveils New Load Testing Tool For Web Applications

Massachusetts-based software testing specialist SmartBear has released LoadNinja, a cloud-based platform for software engineers and performance testing professionals.  According to the company, LoadNinja’s combination of automation, actionable performance data and accurate loads is intended to free up engineer time by simplifying the creation of load testing scripts. TrueLoad technology within LoadNinja uses real browsers at scale for load tests, creating a highly accurate representation of load on the infrastructure supporting the web application under test, according to the company. LoadNinja also features an InstaPlay recorder,  which allows recorded scripts to be played back immediately, allowing for the frequent execution of tests in an Agile/DevOps setting. This, according to the company, differentiates the new solution from  protocol-based tools and enables agile projects to scale easily.
