Renovite Announces Upcoming Cloud-Based ATM Software Release

Payment tech vendor Renovite Technologies is preparing to roll out a new ATM transaction solution at the ATM & Payments Summit. The new payment software, Reno-ATM, is based in the cloud, which, the company claims, allows it to outperform existing legacy platforms in the ATM sector. The software boasts increased ATM configuration capabilities, flexible transaction orchestration, automated testing and hardware-agnostic ATM client software for Windows and Linux. “Legacy systems have been patched up over the years, a bit like an old car,” Renovite Senior Product Manager David Smith stated. “But, under the surface, they are no longer fit for purpose. The main issue with these legacy platforms — what we call legacy dragons — is that they are too complex and expensive to change. Organizations are forced to keep spending more and more money to fix problems rather than transform their business to drive new growth. Happily, Renovite has both the modern technology and [the] payments expertise to resolve these infrastructure challenges.”
