Rainforest QA Rolls Out Mobile Testing Capabilities for iOS12

abstract7-1570456247

Rainforest QA has made its virtual machines – online simulations of computer systems, which allow businesses to run continuous testing flows consistently – available for all mobile iOS 12 customers. The iOS 12 functionality has been integrated directly into Rainforest’s existing offerings. This, according to the company, allows development teams to instantly access clean mobile testing environments at the speed of continuous delivery, rendering obsolete the manual creation of separate testing environments. At the rate QA teams are pushing releases to production, any major delay could be catastrophic for our customer base,” said Svitlana Chumak, Senior QA Engineer at Lavu.“The instant iOS 12 support has helped us noticeably cut down on time and resources. New, manual testing methods that would have taken weeks without the proper OS in place have been reduced to just days, so we can spend more time servicing our customers in new ways.” The beta version of Rainforest’s iOS 12 VMs were available for use on request by select customers, allowing them to test their applications ahead of Apple’s official launch of iOS 12 this week.
