HCL expands its European presence with new headquarters in Sweden

India-based IT services company, HCL, has a new mainframe and automotive service centre headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.

HCL Technologies, the multinational IT services company, opened a delivery centre in Gothenburg, Sweden, employing more than 150 people. The centre will become HCL’s global headquarters for global delivery network and act as a base for its mainframe and automotive services.

Senior Vice President and Head of Nordics at HCL, Pankaj Tagra, said:  “The Nordics is a strong growth market for HCL and we have been continuously investing in local delivery centres to give more value to our customers. Our new Gothenburg delivery centre supports this growth and enables us to get closer to many of our customers in the Nordics. At the same time, the new site allows us to further increase our global shared services capabilities and provide customers with high quality, industrialized mainframe, open systems and digital services through our new centres of excellence.”
