DXC Technology announces acquisition of M-Power Solutions
DXC Technology, the global end-to-end IT services company, has announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire M-Power Solutions, an Australian company focused on Oracle cloud-based, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) & Business Intelligence (BI).
The M-Power brand will be integrated within the DXC Red Rock practice, provider of Oracle consulting and managed services, and will build on DXC Technology’s digital transformation strategy.
“DXC Red Rock is today the largest independent provider of Oracle Cloud licensing, consulting and managed services solutions in ANZ. The combination of M-Power with DXC’s Red Rock practice solidifies DXC’s position as the undisputed leader in Oracle Cloud Solutions in Australia & New Zealand,” said Seelan Nayagam, Managing Director, DXC Technology in Australia & New Zealand.
In a statement, DXC said that M-Power will accelerate the digital transformation journey for DXC’s enterprise clients and extend its Strategic Cloud Migration Services into DXC’s customer base. And as enterprise clients are increasingly seeking more relevant and intuitive insight into the underlying drivers of their business, the addition of M-Power to Red Rock will provide enterprise clients with access to Oracle’s Cloud-based EPM and BI Analytics offerings, the company said.
“Our business was growing rapidly and we were at a tipping point. We needed to either invest more ourselves or get leverage. DXC offered us a platform for our growth in ANZ, around the world and into larger Tier 1 customers; and we want to be a part of that success,” explained Mark Simpson, Director and CEO at M-Power Solutions.
Financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
