Actifio announces reseller agreement with Fujitsu

Actifio, the Data-as-a-Service company, has announced a global reseller agreement with Fujitsu Limited, a Japanese information and communications technology company. From late February 2018, Fujistu will begin selling Actifio Sky, Actifio’s data virtualisation product, to enterprises and service providers seeking to make data utilisation more efficient in the Japanese market. The companies will collaborate to provide a data management platform, by combining Actifio Sky with Fujitsu’s products and services. The first stage of the collaboration will involve providing test data management solutions that enable information from one core database to be used simultaneously for multiple application development environments, without affecting the core system. “There is a lot of synergy in our partnership with Fujitsu and we’re thrilled to offer a joint solution,” said Jim Sullivan, President, Cloud Business Development at Actifio. “We believe the combination of Fujitsu’s services and Actifio’s Data-as-a-Service platform will help Fujitsu power partners with enhanced capabilities and allow more companies to transform their digital enterprises.”
