Professor in Computer Engineering

Donatella Sciuto received her Bachelor’s in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, an MBA from Bocconi University and her PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is currently the Executive Vice Rector of the Politecnico di Milano and a full-time Professor in Computer Science and Engineering. Since 2013, she has been a member of the Board of Governors for the Bank of Italy.

Donatella Sciuto si è laureta in Ingenieria Elettronica al Politecnico di Milano, ha conseguito un MBA all’universitá Bocconi ed un dottorato di ricerca in Ingenieria Elettronica ed Informatica alla University of Colorado, Boulder.  Correntemente Donatella ricopre il ruolo di Vicerettore al Politecnico di Milano, dove è anche una docente di Ingenieria e Scienze Informatiche. Dal 2013 è un  membro del consiglio amministrativo della Banca d’Italia.

Marco Martino Reale ITES

Head of the Test Office

Marco Martino started his career as a consultant for various IT companies in Turin, initially as a Java developer and then as an analyst and designer of complex open-platform systems. In 2006 he joined Reale Group, working on the implementation of a critical management software, (both at a development and coordination level). In June 2010 he assumed the role of head of the Test Office of Reale ITES. His team is composed of 15 resources and their main target is to certify the quality of the software before its release in production. Reale ITES also takes care to verify the performance of the systems (load testing and stress testing) and to control the source quality statically. Marco Martino has been a member of the Scientific Committee of ITA-ISTQB since February 2014.

Marco Martino ha cominciato la sua carriera come consulente per svariate compagnie informatiche a Torino, inizialmente come sviluppatore di Java software e poi come analista e designer di complessi sistemi a piattaforma aperta. Nel 2006 è entrato a far parte del Reale Group, lavorando all’implementazione di un software per la gestione (sia a livello di sviluppo che di coordinamento). A Giugno del 2010, ha assunto il ruolo di Capo dell’Ufficio Test a Reale ITES. Il suo team é composto da quindici colleghi il cui obiettivo principale è quello di certificare la qualitá del software prima che venga distribuito in produzione. Reale ITES si occupa anche della verifica della prestazione dei sistemi (load testing e stress testing) e del controllo della qualitá della sorgente. Marco Martino è un membro della commissione scientifica ITA-ISTQB da Febbraio 2014.

Test and Quality Manager - Referente per i Test e la Qualitá del Servizio Finanza

Guido M. Marzorati has been in the IT sector of the banking industry since the 1980s. In 2001 he joined Gruppo Intesa, and finally Intesa Sanpaolo. He has covered a variety of positions throughout his career within the firm: from developer and analyst in the mainframe world to development and test repository manager, and iCASE environment methodologist. He worked on diverse methodologies and applications of production cycles while defining and diffusing guidelines for waterfall methodologies combined with an Agile approach. He currently coordinates application testing within the financial services in the Test Competence Centre.

 

Dagli anni 80 nell’IT bancario, dal 2001 nel gruppo Intesa, poi Intesa SanPaolo. Da sviluppatore e analista nel mondo mainframe, ad amministratore dei repository di sviluppo e test e metodologista dell’ambiente iCASE. Infine si è occupato di strumenti e di diverse metodologie del ciclo di produzione, collaborando alla definizione e alla diffusione delle linee guida della metodologia ufficiale waterfall oggi affiancata all’approccio Agile. Attualmente coordinatore del Centro di Competenza Test Di Filiera per le applicazioni del Servizio Finanza.

David Edoardo Scotti NEXI

David has spent his entire career working in software Quality Assurance in the financial sector. During the early years as a consultant, he helped clients in Italy and Europe enhance their internal quality processes and deliver reliable software whilst respecting time-to-market. David recently joined one of Europe’s biggest payment and securities firms, where he is responsible for the internal Test Factory. His key objectives are to consolidate software quality, stability and reliability in legacy systems and to target the speed-plus-quality required for digital innovation.

 

David ha speso tutta la sua carriera lavorando con software per la garanzia di qualitá nel settore finanziario. Durante i suoi primi anni da consulente, ha aiutato clienti nazionali ed internazionali a migliorare le loro procedure di verifica della qualitá e a consegnare software affidabili rispettando il TTM. È  recentemente entrato a far parte di una delle maggiori compagnie europee specializzate in sicurezza e pagamenti, nella quale è responsabile del Test Factory. I suoi obiettivi principali sono il consolidamento della qualità dei software, la stabilitá e l’affidabilitá dei sistemi ereditati e il mantenimento della qualitá mentre si accelera lo sviluppo richiesto dall’innovazione digitale.

Riccardo Riccobene Deutsche Bank

Chief Information Security Officer - Italy

Riccardo Riccobene has been at Deutsche Bank since 2001. He has developed strategic skills in the following areas:  Organizational Change, Regulatory Compliance, IT Application and Infrastructure- from data centre to end user devices. Riccardo has focused on managing Business Innovation Cross Country programs, with special attention given to new technologies and digital strategies, core elements of  the evolution of the banking industry. In 2016 this led to a move into Information Security, which Riccardo sees as one of the key pillars of innovation.

 

Riccardo occupa il ruolo di CISO a Deutsche Bank – Italia e di Responsabile per Information Security Advisory per Deutsche Bank AG dal 2001. Lavora nel mondo bancario dal 1991 con esperienza internazionale presso Filiali Estere e Direzione Generale prima nel Gruppo Intesa e dal 2001 in Deutsche Bank dove ha ricoperto anche il ruolo di Chief Technology Officer per i paesi Europei. Negli ultimi tre anni  Riccardo si è focalizzato sulla gestione di programmi per l’innovazione del business, prestando particolare attenzione a nuove tecnologie e strategie digitali che rappresentano l’evoluzione dell’industria bancaria. Nel 2016 questo ha determinato il suo spostamento nel settore della sicurezza informatica, che Riccardo vede come fondamento per l’innovazione.

Marco Tulliani BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas

Head of IT Risk Management and Cyber Security, CISO

Marco has worked in the financial sector for more than 16 years, and in his current role he supports the strategy, processes, budget, priorities and objectives for Information Security, both at a regional and local level.

Marco has a degree in Electronic Engineering (specialising in Telecommunications) from the University of Rome, and in 2006 he was certified by CISA (Certified Information System Audit) and CISM (Certified Information Security Management). He is a member of ISACA (InformationSystems Audit and Control Association).

As well as working as a software analyst at Accenture, Marco spent three years as a project manager at the Alenia Marconi Systems (Finmeccanica). He then went on to serve as a Senior Security Manager at KPMG, acquiring expertise in Information Risk Management, Cyber Security and Penetration Testing. In 2006 he was hired as Security Manager for the IT Division of Insurance at Sara Assicurazioni.

Marco is now in charge of IT Risk Management and Cyber Security for BNL at BNP Paribas Group. Over the next three years he will be supporting BNL in the implementation of its Cyber Security Program.

Marco lavora nel settore finanziario da oltre 16 anni, e nella posizione che ricopre correntemente sostiene strategie, processi, budget, prioritá e obiettivi per la Sicurezza Informatica, sia a livello regionale che locale.

Si è laureato in Ingegneria Elettronica (con specializzazione in Telecomunicazioni) all’Universitá di Roma, e nel 2006 ha ricevuto certificazioni da CISA (Certified Information System Audit) e CISM (Certified Information Security Management). È inoltre membro del ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association).

Oltre ad aver lavorato come analista programmatore di software ad Accenture, Marco ha occupato il posto di project manager a Finmeccanica (Alenia Marconi Systems). È poi diventato Senior Security Manager per KPMG, dove si èspecializzato in Information Risk Management, Cyber Security e Penetration Testing. Al momento Marco occupa il ruolo di Responsabile Gestione Rischi IT e Cyber Security per BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas. Nei prossimi tre anni sosterrá BNL nell’implementazione del suo programma per la Cyber Security.

Nicoló Romani SIA

Head of Innovation

After graduating with a degree in Physics, Nicoló began his career at Logicasiel. Later he took on roles with increasing responsibility working for Sapient and HP. In 2003, he moved to Between, where he was made Associated Partner, taking on responsibility for innovation activities in the bank sector. In 2015, Nicoló joined SIA as Head of the Innovation Lab, the organizational structure charged with developing new service lines in the area of digital and contactless payments and value added services. He is now Head of Innovation at SIA and is responsible for supporting transformation in the payment systems field.

Dopo aver conseguito la laurea in Fisica, Nicolo cominciò la sua carriera presso Logicasiel. Successivamente, ha assunto ruoli incarichi di una responsabilità sempre maggiore presso Sapient e HP. Nel 2003, cominciò a lavorare presso Between, dove è diventato Partner Associato, assumendo la responsabilità per le attività d’innovazione nel settore bancario. Nel 2015, Nicoló è stato assunto presso SIA come Responsabile del Laboratorio dell’Innovazione, la struttura organizzativa all’incarico dello sviluppo di nuove linee di servizio nell’area di pagamenti digitali e contactless e dei servizi a valore aggiunto. Adesso occupa la posizione di Responsabile dell’Innovazione presso SIA con l’incarico di supportare la trasformazione presso il campo dei sistemi di pagamento.

Massimo Morini Banca IMI - Intesa San Paolo Group

Head of Interest Rate and Credit Models

Massimo Morini is Head Of Interest Rate and Credit Models & Coordinator Of Model Research at the Investment Bank of Intesa San Paolo, the largest Italian Bank. Massimo Morini is a consultant to the World Bank and other supernational institutions. Massimo is a Professor at Bocconi University and MSc Director at Milan Polytechnic, and he was Research Fellow at Cass Business School, London. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Numerix and a member of the scientific committee for Blockchain Lab. He was Board member at the R3 Blockchain consortium, where he headed the Valuation, Collateral & Risk Management working group. He has published papers in journals such as Mathematical Finance, Journal of Derivatives, Harvard Business Review, and Risk magazine. He is the author of “Understanding and Managing Model Risk: A Practical Guide for Quants, Traders and Validators” and of “Counterparty Credit Risk, Collateral and Funding”. Massimo holds a PhD in Mathematics and an MSc in Economics.

Ferdinando Ametrano Universita Milano Bicocca and Politecnico Di Milano

Lecturer “Bitcoin & Blockchain Technology”

Ferdinando M. Ametrano teaches “Bitcoin and Blockchain Technologies” at Politecnico di Milano and Milano-Bicocca Universities. Ferdinando is the former Head of Blockchain and Virtual Currencies at Intesa Sanpaolo bank, and he is a member of the Scaling Bitcoin Planning Committee and was the Chairperson of Scaling Bitcoin 2016 in Milan. Ferdinando has written scientific publications, and contributed to multiple media outlets. He is an appreciated speaker and lecturer and has been invited to talk about bitcoin at central banks, parliaments, universities, conferences, and workshops. His academic research focuses on price stability, advocating automated non-discretionary elastic monetary policy for a new generation of cryptocurrencies (Hayek Money).

 

Ferdinando M. Ametrano insegna “Tecnologie Bitcoin e Blockchain” al Politecnico di Milano e all’universitá Milano-Bicocca. È stato Responsabile di Blockchain e Valuta Digitale presso la banca Intesa Sanpaolo e ha presieduto Scaling Bitcoin 2016 a Milano, oltre ad essere membro della commissione Scaling Bitcoin Planning. Ferdinando ha scritto numerose pubblicazioni scientifiche e ha dato il suo contributo a vari organi di stampa. È un oratore e professore molto apprezzato che è stato invitato piú volte a parlare di bitcoin in banche centrali, parlamenti, universitá, conferenze e seminari.  La sua ricerca accademica si concentra sulla stabilitá dei prezzi, sostenendo una politica monetaria automatizzata, non-discrezionale ed elastica per una nuova generazione della criptovaluta
