UST Global partners with SeaLights Technologies
UST Global, the IT services company headquartered in California, has partnered with SeaLights Technologies Ltd, the Israeli cloud-based software quality platform.
George Ukkuru, Head of Quality Engineering at UST Global, said that the partnership will integrate SeaLights’ Test Impact Analytics – a machine learning tool designed to identify and automate tests – into UST Global’s testing platform NoSkript and BDD framework SkriptMate. The combined capabilities will automatically select regression test scripts based on code changes, Ukkuru said.
NoSkript uses data analytics to automate end-to-end tests. According to Ukkuru, the cloud-based platform is designed to support integration with DevOps tools, carry out automated accessibility testing, and run tests in parallel across devices, browsers and virtual environments.
Ukkuru said: “The capabilities offered by SeaLights will help us optimize and cut down the automation cycle time for our customers, who have thousands of automation test scripts as a part of their regression testing.” Although Ukkuru would not name any of these customers, he confirmed that they include asset management companies, commercial banks and financial services firms in India, America and the UK.
He added that SeaLights’ test analytics capabilities “will also help us optimize test coverage and determine release readiness,” enabling the UST Global quality engineering team to “automatically identify test coverage gaps and design test cases using the model-based design capabilities of our testing platform.”
