Tricentis, the test automation specialist, has expanded its UI testing solution to include mobile testing capabilities.
Testim is Tricentis’ AI-based SaaS platform for UI testing for web applications, supporting codeless test authoring, device management and emulation, and cloud-based application testing. Testim was acquired by Tricentis in February 2022 and has since become a key tool alongside their flagship test automation platform, Tosca.
“Ever-changing consumer expectations require organisations to frequently evolve their mobile applications, risking challenges due to a variety of operating systems, unstable network connections, geo-location capabilities, and more,” said Suhail Ansari, CTO at Tricentis (pictured). “As more mobile-first companies enter the market, organisations must ensure high performance, functionality, and usability for their apps to be successful.”
This update brings native mobile application testing to the platform, easing the creation of mobile tests, particularly iOS testing from windows devices, Tricentis claims.
