Tricentis Flood Announces Azure Integration for Cloud Load Testing

tricentis-logo-cropped-1569313383

Tricentis’ load testing tool, Flood, has released an integration to Microsoft Azure. The new integration will allow Flood users to leverage their own Azure accounts to host cloud load tests, via the tool’s hosted deployment option. With the move, Tricentis is targeting customers looking to move away from the load testing capabilities of Microsoft Visual Studio, which Microsoft will retire in 2019. In its appeal to Azure devotees, Tricentis is highlighting its Gold partnership status with Azure and its continuing investment in Azure capabilities. Teams now have the flexibility to leverage their existing agreement with Azure to allow them to choose any supported region or instance type, according to the company.  Hosted accounts require some configuration and expertise with Azure, as well as billing both from Flood and Azure (for the server usage).
