Software AG Launches Cloud Development, Testing and Deployment Platform

German enterprise software vendor Software AG launched its cloud platform for enterprise software building, testing and deployment at AWS re:Invent. The new platform, aptly titled Software AG Cloud can be used to develop and deploy anything from simple apps to complex, cloud-enabled enterprise and IoT applications. According to the company, the new platform is a one-stop shop for “all things cloud”, providing users with subscription-based access to Software AG’s enterprise applications and middleware technology. Another tool aimed at enterprises with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, Software AG Cloud allows companies to develop, test and build applications without needing to invest in on-premises architecture, the vendor stated. It is described as a true multi-cloud platform that supports different providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, among others.
