Qualitest, the test automation specialist, has acquired India-based ZenQ, including more than 600 quality engineers and its leadership team.

While the details of the acquisition were not disclosed, it continues a trend of growth for Qualitest.

“The acquisition of ZenQ represents yet another milestone in our journey to become the world’s preferred Quality Engineering firm,” said Anbu Muppidathi, Qualitest CEO.

In July, Qualitest announced it would be hiring 3,000 engineers across multiple regions and a range of verticalities, including banking and financial services and specialised fields such as  Blockchain and IoT. This would dramatically increase the firm’s size, from around 6,500 employees currently.

“Qualitest and ZenQ share a common vision to provide the most advanced and customer-centric quality engineering capabilities available in the world. By joining forces, we will leverage our varied expertise to assure the quality of our clients’ deployments and their overall operational readiness.” said Murali Bollu, CEO of ZenQ.

Qualitest offers AI-powered quality engineering solutions, with a range of systems for software testing analytics, automation and coded frameworks, designed to mitigate the business risk associated with digital adoption.

Its flagship product, Qualisense combines test automation with text consolidation AI, removing repeated code, and quality assessment processes to identify and improve existing quality operations.
