Qualitest, the New Jersey-headquartered quality assurance vendor, has announced the acquisition of Q Analysts, a testing firm based in California. Details of the deal have not been disclosed, however this is the sixth Qualitest acquisition in the past two years.
The takeover will see Qualitest enhance its presence in the US, UK, Madagascar, Switzerland and India as the Q Analysts engineering team is merged. The key objective, Qualitest said, is to improve its expertise in augmented reality, virtual reality and “mixed reality” quality assurance and testing.
Commenting on the acquisition, Qualitest CEO Anbu Muppidathi [pictured] said: “This acquisition ensures that our combined solutions will continue to unlock value and drive measurable success for our existing customers, as well as allow us to expand our expertise in a wider variety of technologies and adjacent industries”.
