French enterprise software specialist Atos has unveiled a new software solution to ensure high availability of cloud-hosted enterprise services. The new offering, Evidian SafeKit 100%, includes real-time replication, load balancing and failover – a set of capabilities allowing the software to distribute data and workloads efficiently between systems. The new solution was released in response to the growing load management needs of organisations, moving their business-critical services to multi-cloud infrastructures. While cloud solutions offer flexibility, scalability and cost-efficiency, according to Atos, the usual Service Level Agreement (SLA) of 99.99% may not be enough for organisations to maintain the resiliency of their services required by regulation. Evidian Safekit, the company claims, allows firms to ensure complete service continuity. It provides templates for Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. The software reportedly simplifies the creation of application clusters on two virtual machines, which are used to manage failure and ensure fast application recovery.
