Tel Aviv-based API integration specialist OpenLegacy has received $30 million in a funding round led by CommerzVentures. Other major investors in the round included C. Entrepreneurs, which also has stakes in BNP Paribas Cardif and Catay Innovation; and Silverhorn Investment Advisors. The company, which specialises in microservices-based API integration for back-end applications, will help the business expand further and strengthen its market position, according to the company. OpenLegacy targets established enterprise-level firms with complex legacy environments. It claims its product streamline the integration of legacy systems, without changing the underlying infrastructure. OpenLegacy was founded by IBM alum Romi Stein and Software AG veteran Roi Mor, currently CEO and CTO, respectively.
